Dubai's typing centers cluster in the older districts. Deira alone holds about a third of all listings, most of them small private shops around Naif, Al Murar and Al Rigga. Bur Dubai, Al Qusais, Hor Al Anz and Al Karama come next. Newer residential areas such as Dubai Marina, JVC or Dubai Hills have few or none, so their pages point you to the closest neighbourhoods instead.
Each area page lists two kinds of places. Licensed centers come from the GDRFA, MOHRE and Dubai Land Department lists: Amer for visas and residency, Tasheel for work permits and labour files, Tadbeer for maids and nannies, and DLD trustee centers for Ejari. Private typing and document clearing shops come from the HiDubai and Yellow Pages directories, checked . They fill in forms and run papers to the right counter, but they cannot file a Dubai visa application themselves.
If you are not sure which counter your job needs, read Amer vs Tasheel vs typing center first. For a visa file you would rather hand over, see UAE visa services.
