If you need an Amer center open 24 hours in Dubai, there are two confirmed options: 24 Seven Government Transaction Center (Amer 24/7) in Al Khabaisi, Deira, and the GDRFA Airport Services Center at Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport. Both are listed by GDRFA. No other Amer, GDRFA or Tasheel center publishes round the clock hours, as of .
A lot of pages online call centers "24 hours" without a source. We only mark a center as 24/7 when GDRFA or the center's own website says so.
Two private document clearing offices also list 00:00 to 23:59 on all seven days in the HiDubai business directory: Shooting Star Documents Clearing Services in Al Warqa'a 3 and Carelend Gulf Documents Clearing Services in Al Barsha 1. They appear in the list on this page. They are private shops, not Amer centers, so they can prepare papers and forms at night but cannot file a Dubai visa application. The directory does not say when the listing was last updated, so check before you go.

Amer 24/7 is a private Amer center, so it offers the usual Amer services: entry permits, residence visa issue, renewal and cancellation, status change, visit visas and data amendments. It also charges its own service fee on top of the GDRFA fee, like any Amer center.
The Airport Services Center is run by GDRFA itself. GDRFA's own centers are where you go with cases an Amer center is unable to complete.
Centers people expect to be 24/7, but are not confirmed

If you searched for "Tasheel 247", this is the honest answer: no Tasheel center is confirmed 24/7 on the MOHRE list. MOHRE publishes no hours at all for its business services centers. The Tasheel company linked to Amer 24/7 may keep long hours, but nothing official says so, and its address is not on the MOHRE list either. Call before you go.
Typing centers open 24 hours
Two private document clearing offices show 24 hours on the HiDubai business directory: Shooting Star Documents Clearing Services in Al Warqa'a 3 and Carelend Gulf Documents Clearing Services in Al Barsha 1. These are directory listings showing 24 hours, unconfirmed: neither office is on an official list, and we could not check the hours with the office. A private clearing office can type forms and follow a file, but it cannot submit a Dubai visa itself, so at night it is no substitute for the two counters above.
What you can do at night without a center
Many GDRFA services do not need a counter.
- Visa cancellation: GDRFA lists its digital channel as available 24/7, next to the Amer center option. Employees still need the MOHRE work permit cancellation first.
- Visa status and validity: the GDRFA status inquiry works at any hour. Our visa status check guide explains which tab to use.
- Fines: GDRFA lists fine payment as a service, and overstay fines run at AED 50 a day for residence, tourist and visit visas. See overstay fines in Dubai before you travel.
- Work permits: MOHRE says its services are free through its website and app, apart from the federal fees.
What you cannot do at night: the medical fitness test and Emirates ID biometrics. Both happen at their own centers during their own hours. The fastest medical option, Smart Salem, takes about 30 minutes and costs AED 700, under Dubai Administrative Resolution No. 66 of . Its opening hours are not part of our data. Typical night time situations
You need GDRFA itself, not an Amer center, and it is after 19:00. The Airport Services Center at Terminal 3 is the only GDRFA center listed as open at that hour. The other eight close by 19:00.
Your visa expires tomorrow. Check the exact expiry date on the GDRFA tool tonight, then go to Amer 24/7 or any Amer center in the morning. The visa renewal page covers the steps and fees.
You work long day shifts. An evening slot at Amer 24/7 in Al Khabaisi avoids the daytime queue. Bring everything in one go: passport, current visa, Emirates ID, photo and medical result for residence visas.
You need MOHRE work done. Labour work goes to a Tasheel center, and none is confirmed open at night. Do it online through MOHRE, where checks such as Application Status and Electronic Work Permit Information work at any hour (see our MOHRE enquiry guide), or visit a Tasheel center the next day. Normal daytime hours, for comparison
GDRFA's own customer happiness centers, other than the airport, open Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 19:00, and Friday 07:30 to 12:00 and 14:30 to 19:00. Most Amer centers do not publish hours.
