Jumeirah 1, 2 and 3 have three licensed counters between them and no private typing shops in our data. Business Hub in Palm Strip Mall and Smart Serve Digital on Al Bailee Street are Amer centers on the GDRFA list. Home Care, a Tadbeer center, works from a villa on Al Wasl Road. Al Wasl, just inland, adds an Amer center and a Tasheel center, and all twelve entries are listed below.
The three Jumeirah counters
| Counter | Kind | Address | Open |
|---|---|---|---|
| Business Hub Government Transactions Center | Amer | Palm Strip Mall, Jumeirah 1 | Sun to Fri 08:00 to 22:00 |
| Smart Serve Digital Government Transaction Center | Amer | 52 Al Bailee Street, Jumeirah 3 | Sat to Thu 08:00 to 20:00 |
| Home Care Center for Domestic Workers Services | Tadbeer | villa 462, Al Wasl Road, Jumeirah 2 | not published |
Hours are from each operator's own site, checked . The pattern is handy: on a Friday go to Business Hub, on a Saturday go to Smart Serve.
Next door in Al Wasl
Ontime Hub Government Services is an Amer center and Falak Tayyeb Platinum Government Services is a MOHRE Tasheel center. Use the Tasheel counter for a work permit or labour contract, which an Amer counter does not issue. Seven private offices complete Al Wasl's list: see typing centers in Al Wasl.
What Jumeirah households usually need
Most visits here are about a home rather than a company:
- A nanny, housemaid or driver. Home Care is the local Tadbeer. The sponsor needs a family income of at least AED 25,000 a month, a lease or title deed and 3 months of bank statements. The nanny visa and maid visa pages have the full list.
- A renewal for yourself or the family. GDRFA's app takes it with UAE Pass, 48 hours by its own figure. The counter visit is only needed if the app refuses the file.
- A medical. Normal service is AED 270 at a Dubai Health center, and the medical test guide explains the faster tiers.
If the paperwork is the part you want off your plate, our partner team can take the domestic worker or family file and give you one total price first.
Further along the coast
Up the coast, Al Satwa and Al Bada'a hold dozens of typing shops. Down the coast, Umm Suqeim has NYPD Typing, another Amer center. The Amer center finder covers the rest of Dubai.
