Al Barsha has two Amer centers on the GDRFA list, and both sit in Al Barsha 2. The one most people mean when they search "Amer Al Barsha Mall" is listed under a confusing name: Al Quoz Government Transactions Center, at Al Barsha Mall, 1st floor, F 28, Gate 2. The second is Egsh Investments L.L.C, also in Al Barsha 2. Both handle GDRFA residency work such as entry permits, visa renewal and status change.
The name trap: "Al Quoz" center, Al Barsha address
If you type "Al Quoz Government Transactions" into a map, you may be sent to Al Quoz. The GDRFA list, checked , places this licence in Al Barsha Mall. Use the Google Maps link in the list above, which searches the name with the published address, and check the unit number (F 28) and gate (Gate 2) when you arrive.
The second Amer center, Egsh Investments, belongs to the EGSH group, which also holds a MOHRE business services licence elsewhere in Dubai. The directory gives its address as the 1st Floor of Art of Living Mall on Umm Suqeim Street, Al Barsha 2. No hours are published, so check before you go.
What the six Al Barsha centers do
| Center | Type | What to bring there |
|---|---|---|
| Al Quoz Government Transactions Center (Al Barsha Mall) | Amer | Entry permits, residence visa, status change, visit visas |
| Egsh Investments L.L.C | Amer | Same GDRFA residency work |
| Maids CC domestic workers services | Tadbeer | Maid or nanny recruitment and visa |
| Raha Domestic Workers Services | Tadbeer | Domestic worker contracts and visa |
| Al Ahlia Center for Domestic Workers Services | Tadbeer | Domestic worker recruitment |
| Al Tabu Real Estate Services Trustee (Al Barsha 2) | Ejari | Tenancy registration, renewal, cancellation |
Half the list is Tadbeer. That mix tells you something useful: if you are bringing in a housemaid, a nanny or a driver, a domestic workers center handles the hiring, the contract and the visa file in one place. See the steps and documents on our maid visa guide and the nanny visa page.
Ejari before a family visa
Al Tabu Real Estate Services Trustee is the only DLD trustee center in the area, and one of 7 in all of Dubai. DLD lists its hours as Monday to Friday 07:30 to 20:00 and Sunday 07:30 to 20:00. Saturday is not stated. You need a registered Ejari before sponsoring a spouse or children, because the dependant residence file asks for a certified tenancy contract.
DLD's own fee for Ejari through the Dubai REST app is AED 177.75. The trustee center route adds a higher service partner fee, and DLD's page puts that total at AED 220. Bring the original unified tenancy contract and your Emirates ID. More detail sits on our Ejari typing center guide, and the family visa page covers the next step.
What is missing in Al Barsha
There is no GDRFA customer happiness center and no Tasheel counter with a published Al Barsha address. That matters for two jobs:
- Labour work (work permit, employment contract, labour card): go to a Tasheel center. The nearest listed ones are in Al Quoz, including the DXB Businessmen Services counter in Al Khail Mall.
- A case an Amer counter cannot resolve: GDRFA's own customer happiness sections take these. The closest are on Sheikh Zayed Road, at Al Manara and DIFC.
For Emirates ID, ICP lists a service center named Al Barsha among its customer centers. Our Emirates ID renewal guide explains the fee and the photo rule.
What the counters charge
Published price lists of Dubai typing centers, checked , put form typing at about AED 40 to 200 and the Amer service charge at about AED 100 to 300 per GDRFA transaction. Government fees come on top, and a Tasheel counter may add at most AED 72 per MOHRE service.
Nearby areas
Al Barsha borders several areas with their own lists. Al Quoz has 5 Amer centers and 2 Tasheel counters. The Jumeirah and Satwa list covers Umm Suqeim and Al Wasl. Further west, the Jebel Ali and Dubai Marina page lists the Marina Amer center. For the full Dubai map of 85 Amer centers, use Amer centers near you.
