Five of the nine split their day with a break in the afternoon, usually 14:00 to 17:00. Boss Power on Old Baladiya Street is the late one, open to 22:30, Monday to Saturday.
A trading district's paperwork
Al Ras sits beside the Gold Souq, and its mix looks like a trading district's: more clearing offices than typing counters, and two of them on Al Ras Road keep Monday to Friday office hours. A clearing office here is useful for company files that pass through several departments: trade licence renewals at Dubai Economy and Tourism, a customs code, staff permits at MOHRE, a chamber of commerce certificate. It still does not hold a licence for any of those counters. It prepares the file and takes it to the right place.

For a visa or Emirates ID
Typing offices such as Al Aweer and Yas can fill in an Emirates ID or medical application for you. A residence or visit visa has to go through an Amer center: the 18 in old Deira are on our Deira page. For evening shops with longer hours, walk on to Al Daghaya or Ayal Nasir, and Al Baraha has more clearing offices.
