The family visa chain, starting from a JVC lease

Say you rent in JVC and want to sponsor a spouse or children. GDRFA asks for a salary of AED 4,000, or AED 3,000 plus accommodation, and a dependent's residence needs a registered lease, which in Dubai means Ejari. That part you can do yourself on the Dubai REST app for AED 177.75. The entry permit and residence stamping go through an Amer center or the GDRFA app, and family members aged 18 and over need a medical test in the UAE.

Al Nadra Typing and the 30 other private offices on this list can fill in and print forms. They cannot submit a GDRFA visa file the way an Amer center does. If a shop offers to "do the visa", ask which Amer center it will submit through.
