What Palm owners and tenants tend to need

Golden visa through property. If the unit is worth AED 2,000,000 or more in your name, it may qualify. GDRFA checks the value with a DLD property status certificate, accepts mortgaged property with a lien, and a share in a jointly owned unit must reach AED 2,000,000 on its own. Domestic staff. A maid or nanny needs a MOHRE work permit and a residence visa. Our maid visa page lists the documents.

Ejari for a rented unit. Register it yourself on the Dubai REST app, or at the Al Tabu trustee in Al Barsha 2.

Leaving the island less often

A plain residence renewal is a GDRFA app job, 48 hours by GDRFA's own figure. The trips you cannot avoid are the medical test and Emirates ID biometrics. No. None of the GDRFA, MOHRE or DLD lists has a center on the Palm. The nearest Amer centers are Al Tawheed Government Services in Dubai Marina and the two in Al Barsha 2.

Is the Amer center in Palm Strip Mall on the Palm?

No. Palm Strip Mall is on Jumeirah Street in Jumeirah 1. GDRFA lists Business Hub Government Transactions Center there, an Amer center with listed hours of Sunday to Friday 08:00 to 22:00, closed Saturday.

Can my Palm apartment get me a golden visa?

It can if the property is worth at least AED 2,000,000 in your name. GDRFA confirms the value with a DLD property status certificate, and a jointly owned share must itself be worth AED 2,000,000.
