Every center on this site comes from a list you can open yourself. We name the source on each page, with the month we checked it, so you can see exactly where a fact came from.
Licensed centers come from the official lists
The licensed centers come only from the lists the authorities publish:
| Source | What it lists | Listed here |
|---|---|---|
| GDRFA Dubai | Amer centers | 85 |
| GDRFA Dubai | GDRFA's own customer happiness centers | 9 |
| MOHRE | Tasheel business service centers | 82 |
| MOHRE | Tawjeeh guidance centers | 8 |
| MOHRE | Tadbeer domestic worker centers | 42 |
| Dubai Land Department | Ejari trustee centers | 7 |
We copy names and addresses the way the authority publishes them, typos included, because that is what you will see on the sign and the receipt. If an official list leaves an address blank, the page says so. GDRFA also has partner service points inside companies and government offices. Those are closed to the public, so we leave them out of the lists.
Private typing shops are marked as private
There is no official register of private typing shops, so the 1,806 private typing and document clearing listings come from public business directories: mainly HiDubai, which Dubai Economy and Tourism runs, and Yellow Pages UAE. Every one of them is labelled as a private shop and carries a "may be out of date" note, because directories do not say when a listing was last updated.
We never add private shops into the counts of licensed centers. On an area page such as Deira, licensed centers and private shops are always shown as two separate numbers from two separate kinds of source. A private shop can fill in forms and help you prepare a file, but only a licensed Amer or Tasheel counter can submit it to GDRFA or MOHRE.
Duplicates and names that mislead
Some shops appear both on an official list and in a business directory under a slightly different name. When we can match them, we keep the official entry and drop the directory copy from lists and totals. A few private shops simply call themselves "Tasheel" or "Amer Services". We add "(private typing shop)" to those names so nobody mistakes them for a licensed counter.
How counts are worked out
The numbers on our pages are counted from the data when the site is built, not typed in by hand. A check runs on every update and stops the site from publishing if a count in a title, summary or FAQ does not match the data behind it.
Fees and prices
Government fees come from the authority's own service page or the official resolution that sets them, for example GDRFA for residence visa fees and Dubai's medical fitness fee resolution for medical tests. Each fee shows the month we checked it. Typical service charges come from the price lists that typing centers, PRO firms and free zones publish themselves, and we always show them as a range. If we could not confirm a figure, we say so instead of printing a guess.
What we do not do
We do not write reviews or give star ratings. We do not copy Google reviews. We do not invent opening hours, phone numbers or prices. Centers cannot pay to be listed, ranked or hidden.
How often we check
The official lists were last checked in . We recheck them, and the fees, regularly and whenever an authority announces a change.
Found a mistake?
If a center has moved, closed or changed its hours, or a fee is out of date, tell us through the contact form with the page address. We check it against the source and fix the page. Centers can ask for a correction or for removal the same way.
