Port Saeed is office territory rather than shopfront territory. Our directory has 54 typing and clearing listings there: 2 Amer centers and 2 Tadbeer domestic workers centers from the official lists, and 50 private offices, of which 34 are document clearing offices. None of the 50 publishes a closing time after 21:00, and only 10 are on a ground floor.

Al Marwa is a useful lesson in names. It calls itself a documents clearing office, yet it is a GDRFA-licensed Amer center. The reverse also happens here. HiDubai lists a business called simply "Tasheel" in the Makateb Building on 19A Street, plus Absher Government Transaction Center and All In One Government Transaction Co. on 8th Street, and Egy Moon For Online Government Transactions Processing in Al Kunooz Business Centre. None of those four is on the GDRFA or MOHRE lists. The name on the door tells you little. The official list tells you what a counter can file.
Office hours, in office towers
Port Saeed's private offices keep business hours. 28 of the 50 close at 18:00, none lists a split shift, and only 7 show any Sunday hours. Most sit on upper floors of office buildings: City Gate, Dubai Shopping Center, the Al Etihad building on 30 Street, Sapphire Towers on Al Ittihad Road. Note the floor from the list and allow time for the lift.

Clearing office or licensed counter
A clearing office is useful when you want someone else to carry a file between departments, for example a company that needs papers moved between MOHRE, GDRFA and a free zone. It does not replace the licensed counter. A Dubai visa still has to be submitted through an Amer center, and a labour file through a MOHRE business services center. What the counters charge
Published price lists of Dubai typing centers, checked , put form typing at about AED 40 to 200 and the Amer service charge at about AED 100 to 300 per GDRFA transaction. Government fees come on top, and a Tasheel counter may add at most AED 72 per MOHRE service.
