Oud Metha has 23 typing center listings in our directory, and 5 of them are licensed: 2 Amer centers (Tareef Services Center and Tasheel Government Services), 1 Tasheel center (On Time Business Solution), 1 Tadbeer center (Human Care) and 1 Ejari trustee (Tasaheel Government Service). The other 18 are private offices, 12 clearing and 6 typing. No private office publishes a closing time after 21:00.
One district, every licence
| Job | Counter in Oud Metha | Licence |
|---|---|---|
| Residence or visit visa, status change | Tareef Services Center; Tasheel Government Services | Amer (GDRFA) |
| Work permit, labour contract | On Time Business Solution | Tasheel (MOHRE) |
| Maid, nanny or driver | Human Care Domestic Workers Services Center | Tadbeer (MOHRE) |
| Ejari tenancy registration | Tasaheel Government Service | DLD trustee |
Names as GDRFA, MOHRE and the Dubai Land Department publish them, checked .
Only Tasaheel publishes hours: Monday to Saturday 07:30 to 20:00, closed Sunday. GDRFA lists Tareef under "Deira, Oud Metha", although Oud Metha is on the Bur Dubai side, so check the location before you set off.
Three companies, one group
Tasheel Government Services, On Time Business Solution and Tasaheel all belong to the Ontime Group. The names trip people up. Tasheel Government Services is the Amer center, not the Tasheel center. On Time Business Solution is the Tasheel one. Tasaheel, with an extra "a", is the Ejari trustee. For an Ejari, read our Ejari typing center guide for the documents and fee first.
Tareef is in a group too: MOHRE lists a Tareef Government Transactions Center as a Tasheel counter, but without an address.
Names on the street
HiDubai, the Dubai Economy and Tourism directory, lists three clearing offices here called simply "Amer Service", "Tasheel" and "Tadbeer", in and around the Business Venue building and on 10 Street, near Al Adheed by Dubai Courts. Those names, exactly as written, are not on any licence list we use. They may be HiDubai entries for nearby licensed counters, or they may be private offices. Ask which licence the desk works under before you pay.
The rest of the private offices are ordinary clearing and typing firms. Several give Oud Metha Metro Station, Al Nasr Plaza or Lamcy Plaza as their landmark. Darwish Al Balooshi Typing Center on Umm Hurair Street is one branch of a group on our Darwish Al Balooshi page. HiDubai shows no update dates, so any row may be out of date.
Family files
For a spouse or child visa you need the Amer counter, not a typing office. The family visa page sets out the salary rule and documents. If an Amer counter says your case has to go to GDRFA itself, the head office in Al Jafiliya is covered on the Al Jafiliya page. More counters are in Umm Hurair, Mankhool and Karama.
