Ras Al Khor is a working district, and its typing centers serve it: our directory lists 48 rows across Ras Al Khor and Industrial 1, 2 and 3. Five counters are licensed: Tamaam Government Transactions Clearing and Smart Nt S Government Transaction Center for GDRFA visas, N T S Business Hub for MOHRE labour work, and Habitat and Imdad for domestic worker visas. The other 43 are private shops, 23 typing and 20 clearing.

Tamaam is the one to note: it publishes 22:00 closing, later than GDRFA's own sections, which close at 19:00 (the Terminal 3 airport counter aside). Its listed week is Saturday to Thursday, so do not count on Friday.
The Smart NTS name turns up three times. GDRFA lists the Amer licence, MOHRE lists N T S Business Hub on Al Manama Street, and HiDubai has a separate private row, Smart NTS Government Transactions Center, on Manama Street in Industrial 2, open daily except Friday, 08:00 to 20:00. The lists do not say whether these share one office, so ask which licence you are dealing with.

Ras Al Khor Road carries 9 of them and Manama Street 8, and 34th Street in Industrial 3 has 6 more. 36 rows come from HiDubai and 7 from Yellow Pages UAE; the Yellow Pages rows have no hours. Neither directory shows when a listing was last updated.
Industrial area shops keep long but broken days. Al Taif Typing lists 08:00 to 13:00 and 16:30 to 21:30, and several others take a similar break. Nine private shops list 22:00 or later; only seven show Sunday hours.
Which counter for which job
Ras Al Khor's typing traffic is mostly company and worker files. Work permits, employment contracts and labour cards go to the MOHRE business services counter, N T S Business Hub, or the MOHRE app. Entry permits, residence visa renewals and cancellations go to Tamaam or Smart NTS. A housemaid or nanny visa goes through a Tadbeer center; the maid visa page lists the documents.
The private shops type forms, print and photocopy, and a few, like Al Sumood Documents Clearing and Translation and Typing, also list translation. They cannot file a GDRFA visa or a MOHRE permit themselves. The typing center services page sets out what they can and cannot sign for you.
