Hatta has three typing center listings, and the main one is run by the government itself: the Hatta Section, one of GDRFA's 9 customer happiness centers. There is no Amer center in Hatta. The other two listings are private: Hatta Typing near the Heritage Village, and an office named Tasheel on Dubai Hatta Road that is a clearing office, not a MOHRE center.
The three listings
| Name | Kind | Where | Hours |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hatta Section | GDRFA customer happiness center | Hatta | Mon to Thu 07:30 to 19:00; Fri 07:30 to 12:00 and 14:30 to 19:00 |
| Hatta Typing | private typing office | Hatta Dam Street, near Hatta Community Center | Mon to Sat 09:00 to 18:00 |
| Tasheel | private clearing office | Dubai Hatta Road, near Hatta Center | Mon to Fri 08:00 to 20:00 |
GDRFA hours are from its own list. Private hours are from HiDubai, checked . In Ramadan GDRFA lists 09:00 to 17:00.
What the Hatta Section can do
A GDRFA center takes the same residence files as an Amer center, such as a renewal, cancellation or entry permit, and also the harder cases an Amer counter would send to GDRFA anyway. For Hatta residents that means a visa file can stay local. Labour jobs are a different matter. A work permit or employment contract belongs to MOHRE, and with no MOHRE center in Hatta that means the MOHRE app, the MOHRE website or a Tasheel counter in the city.
Most of it can skip the counter
GDRFA's app takes renewals and cancellations with UAE Pass at any hour, and renewals take 48 hours by GDRFA's figure. Follow the file on the visa status check page. What you cannot do from home is the medical and, when ICP asks, the biometrics. If the whole file is the problem, the partner team can take a visa renewal off your hands and confirm one total price first.
