Abu Hail has 10 typing center listings in our directory. One is licensed: VIP Government Transactions Center, an Amer center on the GDRFA list, which can take residence and visit visa files. The other nine are private: 7 typing shops and 2 clearing offices. Six of the typing shops publish a closing time of 22:00, and four of them share one building on 28th Street.
The Al Amal Building row
On the ground floor of the Al Amal Building, 28th Street, four typing shops stand next to each other: Al Maha Typing & Photocopying, Al Musala Star Typing, Al Muteena Star Typing and Almemzer Typing & Photocopying. Their hours, as HiDubai publishes them:
| Shop | Open | Closed |
|---|---|---|
| Al Maha Typing & Photocopying | Sun to Fri 08:00 to 22:00 | Saturday |
| Al Musala Star Typing | Mon to Sat 08:30 to 22:00 | Sunday |
| Al Muteena Star Typing | Mon to Sat 08:00 to 22:00 | Sunday |
| Almemzer Typing & Photocopying | Mon to Sat 09:00 to 22:00 | Sunday |
Checked . None of them breaks for the afternoon, which is unusual for Deira.
If one shop is busy, the next is a few steps away. Al Maha is the one to try on a Sunday.
Other shops
Al Hazam Typing on 24A Street keeps the same 08:00 to 22:00 pattern, Monday to Saturday. Abdulla Hussain Typing on Abu Baker Al Siddique Road is the only Abu Hail listing open seven days a week, with a break from 14:00 to 16:30. It is one of 5 listed branches on our Abdulla Hussain Typing page.
Three more rows come from Yellow Pages UAE without hours: Forms Services near the old labour office, Bizcafe Corporate Services Provider and Al Amana Documents Clearing. Directory rows like these can be out of date, so confirm before you go.
Which counter for which job
For a visa, go to VIP Government Transactions Center, or any of the other 17 Amer centers on our Deira page. GDRFA does not publish VIP's hours. If you want a counter with known late hours, Al Khabaisi has Amer 24/7 and Falcon Vision.
For a work permit, labour contract or a labour card, you need a Tasheel center, and there is none in Abu Hail. The Tasheel center guide lists them, and Al Muraqqabat has licensed counters close by. Our labour card page explains what the card is and what the MOHRE fees are. Abu Hail's private shops can type the forms for all of these, but they cannot submit them. Neighboring Hor Al Anz has its own page.
