Ontime D I P Government Transactions Center L.L.C is a MOHRE-licensed business services center in Dubai Investments Park First. The "D I P" in the name is Dubai Investments Park. It belongs to the Ontime group, which otherwise sits mostly in Oud Metha and Al Wasl, so this is the group's one labour counter out on the industrial south side.
Company files before staff files
DIP is a park of factories, warehouses and their offices, and many visits here are about the company rather than a single worker. MOHRE keeps a labour file for each establishment, separate from the GDRFA immigration file. Two rules catch new owners:
- The company has to be registered with MOHRE, with owners, signatories, activity and location, before MOHRE issues its establishment card. MOHRE quotes 2 working days.
- A new work permit needs an available electronic quota on that file. No quota, no permit.
Company categories still set the permit price. A 2-year permit runs from AED 250 for category 1 to AED 3,450 for category 3, plus the AED 50 application fee. Our company labour file guide covers how the category is set.
The visa half of the job
