This branch of M2000 Businessmen Services sits in Jebel Ali Industrial Area 1, according to MOHRE's list of business services centers. The web address of MOHRE's page for it reads "branch services businessmen 2000m", a scrambled form of the name, which is why searches turn up odd spellings. It is one of five MOHRE licences in the M2000 group; the main addressed counter is in Warsan 1, International City.
Industrial area, company-heavy work
Jebel Ali Industrial 1 is factories, workshops and labour accommodation. Expect the files here to be bulk company jobs rather than one-off personal ones:
- Renewals in batches. A permit can go in up to 60 days before expiry, which gives a company with a large workforce room to spread its filings.
- Quota. A new hire needs an electronic quota on the company's MOHRE file. If the quota is used up, the permit will not issue.
- Category pricing. A 2-year work permit costs AED 250, AED 1,200 or AED 3,450 depending on the company's MOHRE category, plus the AED 50 application fee.

The visa side
M2000 does not hold an Amer licence. After the MOHRE step, the residence goes to GDRFA through an Amer counter such as the Alyalayis Jabel Ali Branch. The work permit renewal guide shows how the two renewals fit together, and the Jebel Ali area page lists other counters nearby.
