Fixit is unusual among Dubai chains because some of its branches hold government licences and some don't. Of the 11 points we list, three appear on official registers. The rest come from Fixit's own website, fixituae.ae, which describes the business as working in Dubai since 1988.
The three licensed points
| Branch | Licence | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Fixit Government Services, Al Mamzar | GDRFA Amer | 54 Street, Al Mamzar |
| Fixit Government Services, Al Bada'a | GDRFA Amer | Amer Lounge, beside Bilal Mosque, Al Satwa |
| Fixit Express Real Estate Services Trustee | DLD trustee (Ejari) | Al Mamzar |
GDRFA spells the name "Governmnt" on its list, which is why our page addresses look odd. For a residence visa, renewal, cancellation or status change, these two Amer counters are the Fixit branches that submit to GDRFA directly.
The eight service branches
Fixit's site lists Uptown Mirdif (shop RT12, for online forms), Dubai Healthcare City, DWTC on Sheikh Zayed Road, the Municipality Building in Al Safa near the old Noor Bank metro station, Dubai Knowledge Village, Almas Tower in JLT, a food court shop in JAFZA, and a desk at Jafza Tasjeel near the ENOC station. They advertise visa, medical application, Ejari, attestation and translation help. We could not find these eight on the GDRFA, MOHRE or DLD lists, so if you start a visa file at one of them, ask which licensed Amer counter will actually submit it and how much time that adds.
Choosing a Fixit branch
If you work in a free zone, the branch inside it saves a drive. For tenancy contracts, use the trustee center, or compare others on our Ejari typing centers page. If you just need an Amer counter and don't mind the operator, our Amer center finder lists all 85 on GDRFA's list.
