The name sends people to the wrong place. Al Quoz Government Transactions Center is a GDRFA-licensed Amer center, but its listed address is in Al Barsha: Al Barsha Mall, 1st Floor, unit F 28, Gate 2, Al Barsha 2. If you search "Amer Al Barsha Mall", this is almost certainly the counter you mean.
A mall counter, with mall habits
A counter inside a neighbourhood mall is handy for a short visit, but do not confuse the mall's hours with the counter's. GDRFA publishes no hours for this one and we found no operator website, so check before going late in the evening or on a Friday. Head for Gate 2, then the first floor.
What it can file
The Amer licence covers GDRFA residency work: entry permits, new residence visas, renewals, visa cancellation, status change inside the UAE, visit visas and personal data corrections. Labour paperwork, such as work permits and MOHRE contracts, needs a Tasheel counter. Al Barsha has none on our official list; the nearest are in Al Quoz.
Barsha or Al Quoz?
Al Barsha has two Amer counters on the GDRFA list, both in Al Barsha 2 malls: this one and Egsh Investments in Art of Living Mall on Umm Suqeim Street.
