Al Ahlia Center For Domestic Workers Services L.L.C is one of the 42 domestic workers centers on MOHRE's Dubai list, the network most people still call Tadbeer. The problem is the address.
Al Barsha or Al Qusais?
MOHRE writes the location as "ALBURSHA-Bin shabib mall". Those two parts do not fit together. Every other record we hold for Bin Shabib Mall puts it on Baghdad Street in Al Qusais, including the domestic workers center Abdulwahed Bin Shabib Domestic Workers Services and a GDRFA Amer counter in the same mall. Al Barsha is on the opposite side of Dubai. We file Al Ahlia under Al Barsha because that is the first word on the record, but we think the mall is the more likely location. Ask the center before you set off.
What it is approved for
A domestic workers center recruits and sponsors household staff under MOHRE rules. It handles work permits, standard contracts and visas for 19 domestic occupations. If you sponsor the worker yourself instead, MOHRE's checks fall on you:
- a family income of at least AED 25,000 on the salary certificate if you are an expat sponsor
- a worker aged 18 to 60, with a passport valid for at least 3 months
- adequate medical insurance, required for employers in Dubai
The contract itself is issued in 1 working day once both sides have signed and the medical result is valid. Our maid visa guide walks through the full file, and the nanny visa guide covers childcare roles. For an existing worker, see maid visa renewal.
