The Creek Government Transactions holds a GDRFA Amer licence in Al Muraqqabat. A sister company, The Creek Businessmen Services, is on MOHRE's list of business services centers. Together they can cover both halves of most staff visa jobs.
A name to match carefully
"Creek" is a popular word in Deira business names. A web search for this center turns up, among others, a DLD trustee office in Creek Tower that has nothing to do with it. Al Muraqqabat itself is inland from the Creek. Check the full name, The Creek Government Transactions, before you go anywhere.
Cancellation is a two-office job
When an employee leaves, the cancellation runs in two parts:
- MOHRE: the work permit and labor contract are cancelled, a Tasheel task, which is where The Creek Businessmen Services comes in.
- GDRFA: the residence visa is cancelled, which this Amer counter can file.
Doing them out of order, or forgetting the second, leaves the person on a residence with no job and the grace period running. Our cancellation guide has the details.
