Awamr Government Transactions Center Est is one of two Amer licences GDRFA places in Port Saeed, a district of Deira. It handles residency work: entry permits, residence issue, renewal and cancellation, status changes and visit visas.
Port Saeed's split: Amer and Tadbeer
What makes Port Saeed different is the number of domestic worker centers. MOHRE lists two Tadbeer centers here:
| Center | Licence | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Awamr | GDRFA Amer | Family, employee and visit residency files |
| Mountain Gate | MOHRE Tadbeer | Maid, nanny and driver contracts |
| Dana Al Tawash | MOHRE Tadbeer | Domestic worker hiring and visas |
If you are sponsoring household staff, start at a Tadbeer center, not at Awamr. The worker's contract and permit sit with MOHRE. The maid visa guide walks through it.
What we could not confirm
No building, hours or website. We could not find the operator online at all, which is common among smaller Amer licence holders. Phone first.
Other counters
The second Amer licence in Port Saeed is Al Marwa Documnts Clearing Services, a clearing company that can file GDRFA work directly. Private shops are on the Port Saeed page.
