This is the GDRFA customer happiness section that GDRFA's list calls "Dubai International Financial". The only address given is Sheikh Zayed Road, with no building or floor. It is run by GDRFA itself. People who search for an "Amer center DIFC" usually land on it, but it is not one of the 85 private Amer centers.
Opening hours
Weekdays, Monday to Thursday, the section works 07:30 to 19:00. On Friday it closes at 12:00 and reopens from 14:30 to 19:00. The Ramadan timetable is 09:00 to 17:00, Friday 09:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00. GDRFA shows nothing for Saturday or Sunday.
Should you come here or to an Amer center?
GDRFA's own sections handle residency work and pick up files an Amer counter has said it cannot complete. That makes this the second stop, not the first, for most people. A new entry permit, a renewal or a cancellation can be typed and submitted at a licensed Amer center, and it ends up in the same GDRFA system.
Because the listing has no building name, use the map button on this page as a guide and confirm the exact entrance before you go. DIFC towers often have several lobbies.
Keep the Friday gap in mind. Arrive at 11:45 and you may be told to come back after 14:30. If you work nearby, a Monday to Thursday visit gives you the longest window, from early morning to 19:00.
Nearest Amer counters
Smart Lounge Government Transaction Center is on the ground floor of Oasis Tower, near Financial Centre Metro Station. Its own website gives Monday to Saturday, 08:00 to 20:00, which covers Saturday when this GDRFA section is closed.
