Alnukhba Businessmen Services Center L.L.C is a MOHRE-approved business services center on the ground floor of a unit it calls Al Nukhba Center, inside Mattar Plaza on Baghdad Street. "Al Nukhba" means "the elite" in Arabic. This is a Tasheel-type counter: work permits, employment contracts, labor cards and company files for MOHRE.
Finding it: search the building, not the district
The MOHRE record names the street and the building but no district. Our directory files it under Al Qusais. Other records in our data for Mattar Plaza on Baghdad Street put the building in Al Nahda 1, and Baghdad Street runs along the edge between the two. A typical errand at a MOHRE counter
Most people who come in are renewing or transferring a work permit. MOHRE processes a work permit in 2 working days. For private-sector staff the permit and the residence visa run side by side, and a Dubai private-sector residence is issued for 2 years, so plan both renewals together.
