M A F Government Transactions Center LLC is on MOHRE's list of business services centers, in Zabeel Plaza, shops 6 and 7, Al Karama. In everyday Dubai terms that makes it a Tasheel counter: the place where MOHRE labour files get typed and submitted.
Labour side only
Tasheel work is about the employment relationship, not residency. At this counter you are looking at work permits (new, renewal, transfer, cancellation), employment contracts, labour card matters and the company's MOHRE establishment file. The MAF website mentions contract renewal and offer letter typing among its Tasheel services. A residence visa, an entry permit or a status change is GDRFA work, and that goes to an Amer counter.
Same building, different licence
The convenient part is that the group's Amer licence, Maf Government Transactions Center L.L.C, is listed in the same Zabeel Plaza. For a new hire the order is usually work permit first, then residency, so a company PRO can finish the MOHRE step here and walk the file to the Amer side. Check with the center that both counters are open the same hours on the day you plan this; we found no published hours for either.
When a Tasheel visit will not help
If MOHRE has flagged the company file (quota, category, unpaid fines), the counter can only tell you what the system shows.
