Maf Government Transactions Center L.L.C is the MAF group's Amer counter, in Zabeel Plaza on 51 20 B Street, Al Karama. GDRFA's list and the group's own site, mafamer.ae, give the same building. (One field in the GDRFA data labels the area "Dignity", which does not match the Karama address; we go with the street address.)
What the group says it handles
The MAF website goes well past a plain Amer counter. It lists golden visa, family visa, multiple entry visa and free zone visa files; medical fitness and occupational health card typing; Dubai Economy e-trade licences and mainland or free zone business setup; translation, attestation and RTA services. We have not checked each of those against a licence. The one we can confirm from GDRFA is the Amer licence for residency files. For a golden visa, the eligibility rules are GDRFA's, whichever counter types the form.
Three MAF licences, three different jobs
| Licence | Listed where | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Amer (this page) | Zabeel Plaza, Al Karama | Residence visas, entry permits, status change |
| M A F Tasheel | Zabeel Plaza, shops 6 and 7 | Work permits, labour contracts |
| M A F Tadbeer | Arabian Center, Al Mizhar | Maids, nannies, drivers |
A fourth MOHRE licence, Maf Businessmen Services L.L.C, has no published address. The MAF site footer also names MAF DIC, MAF JAFZA and MAF Express Al Warqa, again without addresses, so we do not list them as separate branches.
Having the Amer and Tasheel counters in one building helps employers: the labour side and the residency side of a new hire can be typed in the same visit. Other Karama options are on our Karama Amer page.
