Derby Domestic Workers Services L.L.C appears on MOHRE's list of approved domestic workers centers with a single word for its address: Al Karama (spelled "Alkrama" in the record). That's all the official data says about where it is, so call ahead or check the pin before you set out with a folder of originals.
The contract is the part that matters
What a Tadbeer counter like Derby really produces is the MOHRE standard employment contract between you and the worker. You can't write your own. The template fixes the workplace, the type of work, the salary and how it's paid, leave, probation, rest and termination, and the worker must receive a copy.
Know what you are signing up to before the appointment:
- Salary paid within 10 days of the due date.
- One paid rest day a week, plus 12 hours of daily rest with 8 of them in a row.
- At least 30 days of annual leave a year.
- A return ticket home every two years.
- The worker keeps her or his own passport and ID.
Sick leave is where MOHRE's own pages disagree: the portal says 15 days full pay and 15 unpaid, while a snippet of the law text says half pay. Ask the center which version it applies and check MOHRE if it matters to you.
