Fixit Governmnt Services is the GDRFA-licensed Amer center that Fixit lists on its own website as "Fixit Amer, Al Mamzar", at 54 Street. The odd spelling is GDRFA's. Fixit has around ten branches across Dubai, but only two hold an Amer licence: this one and the Al Bada'a branch in Satwa. That makes Al Mamzar one of the places where a Fixit visa file is actually submitted to GDRFA.
Why the licence matters with Fixit
Most Fixit branches, in DWTC, Healthcare City, Knowledge Village, JLT, Jafza and Uptown Mirdif, are private service offices. They can take your papers and prepare forms. The residency application itself (entry permit, residence issue, renewal or cancellation, status change, visit visa, data change) has to go through a GDRFA-licensed Amer counter. If you are dealing with a Fixit office elsewhere, ask which licensed counter will submit the file.
Two Fixit licences on one patch
DLD lists Fixit Express Real Estate Services Trustee in Al Mamzar as well, for Ejari. A family visa needs a registered tenancy, so Al Mamzar residents could register the lease and file the dependants' residence with the same operator. We could not confirm whether both sit at the same address.
