Fixit Governmnt Services, Al Bada'a Branch, is a GDRFA-licensed Amer center that Fixit's own branch list calls "Amer Lounge, Al Satwa", beside Bilal Mosque. GDRFA files it under Al Bada'a, the community next to Satwa. Of Fixit's branches across Dubai, this and the Al Mamzar counter are the two that GDRFA licenses to submit visas.
Two "Amer Lounges"
Search for Amer Lounge and you will meet two different businesses. Fixit uses the name for this Satwa branch. Also in this part of town, Business Hub Government Transactions Center in Palm Strip Mall, Jumeirah 1, runs the amerlounge.ae website under the same brand. They are separate licences, and as far as the official lists show, separate companies. If someone tells you to "go to Amer Lounge", check which one.
Good for
As an Amer counter it handles residence visa issue, renewal and cancellation, entry permits, in-country status changes, visit visas and data amendments. A renewal is the usual reason locals come in: medical first at an approved health center, then the residence renewal through Amer, then biometrics at ICP if asked. Our visa renewal guide has the order and the documents.
Satwa has other Amer counters and plenty of typing shops; compare them on Amer centers in Satwa.
