Habitat Center For Domestic Workers Services trades as Habitat Tadbeer Center, the name printed in its MOHRE address: Rose 9 Building, Manama Street, Ras Al Khor 2. MOHRE's site carries the center under both names. Ras Al Khor Industrial is not where most families live, so most people come here by car with a specific appointment.
A new maid file, step by step
Families tend to treat a Tadbeer visit as one appointment. It's really a short chain, and each link has its own clock:
- Recruitment. The center finds or matches a worker. No official timing; this depends on the candidate.
- Work permit. MOHRE quotes 2 working days. The worker must be 18 to 60, with a passport valid for 3 months or more and no valid work permit elsewhere.
- Medical fitness test. Done at a Dubai Health fitness center, not at Habitat. The normal service costs AED 270, plus AED 50 for the pregnancy test that applies to domestic workers.
- Employment contract. MOHRE quotes 1 working day and will only issue it with a valid medical result. Both sides sign the standard template.
- Residence. The residency stage follows; see the maid visa guide for that part.
If you want to save a trip, ask Habitat which steps it can complete without you there and which need your signature in person.

We found no Habitat website, so its packages, prices and recruitment lead times are unverified.
