GDRFA lists no Amer center inside Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZ, often written DAFZA). The counter people find when they search "Amer center DAFZA" is GDRFA's own office, listed as "Free Zone Section, Dubai International Airport", at Dubai Airport Free Zone in Al Tawar 2. It is a GDRFA customer happiness center, not a private Amer business.
Hours
GDRFA gives the same schedule as its other non-airport sections: Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 19:00, Friday 07:30 to 12:00 and again 14:30 to 19:00. In Ramadan, 09:00 to 17:00, with Friday split 09:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00. Saturday and Sunday are not listed.
The name is misleading
"Dubai International Airport" in the section's name does not put it in the passenger terminal. It sits in the free zone, in Al Tawar 2. The GDRFA counter that is actually in the terminal is the Airport Services Center at Terminal 3, the only GDRFA office listed as open 24/7.
Who should use it
GDRFA's list doesn't say which applicants this section serves. Its sections in general take residency work and the cases Amer counters cannot finish. If you work for a DAFZ company, ask your HR team or the free zone which step comes first for your visa. This section is a GDRFA counter, not the free zone authority's own office. The free zone's own service desk and this GDRFA section are two different places, even if they share a district.
If you have a normal job to file, such as a family entry permit or a renewal, a licensed Amer center can do it. The nearest ones on GDRFA's list are Altwar Government Service Center in Al Twar and Al Hijrah Businessmen Services in Al Twar 1. Neither publishes hours.
Also in Al Tawar 2
GDRFA's general Tawar Center Section is in the Al Tawar Municipality New Building in the same district. Our Al Twar area page shows both GDRFA offices with the Amer and typing counters around them. For family files, the family visa guide lists the documents to bring.
