Garhoud: labor files here, visas next door
Garhoud is better known for its visa counters. GDRFA's Airport Services Center at Terminal 3 is close by, and Algarhoud Government Transactions Center is a licensed Amer counter in the same district. Elite Bridge sits on the other side of the split. It files with MOHRE: work permit applications, employment contracts, labor cards and company establishment files.
If you are bringing in a new employee, that order matters. The MOHRE work permit comes first, then the GDRFA entry permit and residence visa. Doing the first step here and the second at an Amer counter a few minutes away is a common way to handle it in one morning.
What to bring for a work permit
