Algarhoud Government Transactions Center, written as one word on GDRFA's list, is a licensed Amer center in Al Garhoud. GDRFA gives only "Deira, Al Garhoud" as the address, so the map pin is approximate.
A name that is easy to confuse
HiDubai, the Dubai Economy and Tourism directory, has a private business called Al Garhoud Government Transactions Center (two words) on the ground floor of the Al Muhairbi building, Sheikh Rashid Road, with hours Monday to Saturday and Sunday closed. It is listed as a clearing office, not an Amer center, and we found nothing that says the two are the same company. If you need a visa file submitted, ask whoever you speak to whether they hold the GDRFA Amer licence.
Garhoud's mix of counters
Our official data has nine licensed counters in the Al Garhoud area key: three Amer, one GDRFA, one Tasheel and four Tadbeer. The Amer three are this one, GFE Documents Services and the Al Karama Government Transactions counter inside Terminal 3. The GDRFA one is the Airport Services Center, open 24/7.
Use an Amer counter for everyday files: renewals, cancellations, status changes, entry permits. Go to GDRFA itself when a counter says it cannot submit your case.
