The visa medical center near you in Dubai will be one of Dubai Health's 25 medical fitness centers, most of them branded Salem. Three are Smart Salem centers, at Index, Dubai Knowledge Park and City Walk, where the test takes about 30 minutes for AED 700. Everywhere else, the normal service costs AED 270 with the result in 24 hours. Bring your Emirates ID or passport, a white-background photo and the e-visa copy.

Dubai Health publishes the names only, with no addresses or hours on the service page. The area in the second column is the one in the center's name.

Pick by urgency, not by area. If your grace period or a GDRFA deadline is close, the fast tiers save days. If not, the normal service at the nearest Salem center does the same job. Our medical test for visa guide explains each speed in more detail.
What to bring
Dubai Health lists four items:
- a completed registration form
- your original, valid Emirates ID or passport
- a recent passport-size photo with a white background
- a copy of the e-visa
The registration goes through Dubai Health's Salem system. You can start it online from the Dubai Health service page or app, or let a typing center register you and print the form.
"Visamedical" and typing centers
Many people search "visamedical" or "visa medical near me" expecting a private clinic. In Dubai the residence medical is done at Dubai Health's centers listed above. What a typing center adds is the registration and form, often as one step of a full residence file. Its charge is on top of the official fee; ask for the two figures separately. Who needs the test
Residence visa applicants aged 18 and over take it, for a new visa and for every renewal. Younger children skip it. Domestic workers such as maids and nannies add the pregnancy test; the maid visa guide covers the rest of that file.
After the test
